How to Play

To successfully grow your homunculus, follow these steps through the three gameplay phases:

 - Gathering Phase:

• Explore the Island: Start by exploring the island to collect various plants. Each plant is linked to a specific virtue and contains unique genetic material necessary for crafting your homunculus.
• Consult the Clipboard: Inside Laboratory Room 1, a clipboard provides essential information on which plants correspond to each virtue, guiding your gathering process.

 - Sequencing Phase:

• Access the Computer: After collecting the plants, head to Laboratory Room 1 to use the computer for sequencing the genetic material.
• Select Plants and DNA Sequences: Use the left and right arrow keys to choose your plants and the up and down arrow keys to select DNA sequences. Each sequence will have a + or – symbol indicating whether the chosen virtue will increase or decrease in your homunculus.
• Plan Your Sequences: Review the symbols before gathering to create a strategy for the virtues you wish to enhance or diminish, aiming for the desired traits in your homunculus.

 - Stabilization Phase:

• Proceed to Laboratory Room 2: After sequencing the DNA, move to Laboratory Room 2 to stabilize your genetic sequence.
• Stabilize the Sequence: Use the “Ready” computer to begin the stabilization process. You must press the X key at the right moment to stop each row of genes on the light green indicators.
• Successful stabilization increases DNA stability, while misses decrease it.
• Achieve Stability Rating: Your goal is to achieve a stability rating of 80% or higher to accurately modify the virtues based on the genetic sequence you selected.
